La Poste - Clean Mobility Provider
The French Post Office "La Poste" is investing in clean transportation. More than 5,000 electrically assisted bicycles were commissioned from Cycleurope in August 2008 with possibly more orders in the near future including quads and electric cars. Even the creation of two eco-mobile subsidiaries is now available at La Poste. Their goal is to reduce its CO2 emissions by 15% and become "the European leader in the use of clean vehicles." Competition, however, is tough as companies like Ikea and Leclerc have already begun encouraging their customers to use public transport to visit their stores. La Poste's could use its already-established network to serve as a battery recharging station for electric vehicles. Why not post your mail and change your battery at one convenient location?
